Top Global Ethics & Compliance Executive leads the overall development, direction, and promotion of the organization's global ethics and compliance function. Designs and develops programs to assess and manage legal and regulatory compliance risks and to establish high ethical standards of conduct for the organization. Being a Top Global Ethics & Compliance Executive ensures that policies reflect domestic and international legal requirements and industry-specific codes governing ethical standards and comply with transparency reporting requirements. Communicates the organization's ethical standards with messaging and delivers employee training programs that raise awareness about ethics-related topics such as Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, Antitrust, Conflicts of Interest, and others. Additionally, Top Global Ethics & Compliance Executive monitors compliance with policies and investigates and remediates any non-compliant actions. We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Global Export Compliance Officer at our Wendell, NC site. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our export compliance efforts.
Our export compliance activities for the company, include:
1. Reviewing and maintaining relevant policies and procedures
2. Conducting due diligence steps and reviewing potential matches of screening results
3. Providing guidance and support to CSR, purchasing, engineering, and logistics teams on export compliance matters
4. Planning and executing regular audits to identify weaknesses and noncompliance situations
5. Assisting with products HTS and ECCN classifications
6. Initiating necessary processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
7. Ensuring annual training of relevant employees
8. Staying updated on global regulations and communicating relevant information to the appropriate functions
9. Efficiently storing and maintaining all required records per legal requirements
