EES Environmental Consulting is seeking a qualified individual with up to three years’ professional experience and a degree in geology, civil/environmental engineering, or related technical field. The position will emphasize field assignments such as groundwater and vapor monitoring and sampling, environmental drilling investigation tasks, remediation system operations and maintenance, data management and evaluation, performing detailed quality control checks, technical editing, and assisting with report preparation.
The successful candidate must be an enthusiastic learner and reliable team player, but also willing and capable of working independently during multi-day local and out-of-town outdoor work assignments. Attributes of the successful candidate include:
· Can-do attitude and practical mechanical skills.
· Attention to detail and quality work product.
· Experience with field sample collection methods and environmental drilling practices, familiarity with chemical analytical testing methods and quality control protocols, and basic operation and maintenance of mechanical remediation systems.
· Proficiency in data management, analysis, visualization, and quality control (experience in environmental database management a plus).
· Commitment to frequent travel and overnight assignments throughout Oregon and Washington.
· OSHA 40-hr. HAZWOPER-certified.
· Excellent communication and writing skills.
