Top Fundraising Executive develops and directs an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, capital development initiatives, and operations to support the overall organizational development and revenue objectives. Leads donor stewardship and relations to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors. Being a Top Fundraising Executive researches and identifies potential corporate or governmental partnerships and grant funding opportunities. Creates collaborative coordination between staff and internal stakeholders to plan events and communications to increase donor engagement. Additionally, Top Fundraising Executive uses technology to manage and monitor donor information and produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Fundraising Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Responsibilities
The primary function of the Fundraising Specialist is to manage the donor database, constituent relationship management, provide reports, and data analytics. Assist with fundraising efforts, marketing, social media and help organize and manage internal and external events. This position reports directly to the Corporate Development Director.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university with a preference for a degree in marketing, public relations, communications, English or business. Experience with donor management software -eTapestry preferred. Strong written communication and editing skills are required. Experience with non-profit fund raising preferred. Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office experience is essential. This person must be able to work in a team environment, handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Some evenings and weekends are required, must be able to manage a flexible schedule. Must be at least 18 years of age or older and have a valid Kansas driver’s license, reliable transportation (mileage paid), necessary insurance, and the ability to pass pre-employment background checks and SRS Adult/Child Abuse Registries.
