Top Foundation Executive develops and leads the vision, strategic planning, financial management, fundraising, and grantmaking operations that support the overall objectives of a foundation. Sets the overall goals for fundraising campaigns and program initiatives. Being a Top Foundation Executive represents the foundation to the public and media to communicate its mission, values, and accomplishments. Maintains positive relationships with foundation stakeholders, including the board of directors, grantees, community leaders, donors, and prospective donors. Additionally, Top Foundation Executive oversees the budget, distribution of foundation funds, and investment strategies to ensure the financial sustainability required to fulfill the foundation's mission. Ensures all foundation activities comply with applicable laws, reporting requirements, and regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to board of directors or trustees. The Top Foundation Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Top Foundation Executive typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience. The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth West Florida Division, Hillsborough County
The role you’ll contribute:
The Hillsborough County, Executive Director will lead fundraising for Tampa, Carrollwood and Connerton Hospitals in the West Florida Division and actively manage their own major gift portfolio. The Hillsborough County Executive Director will manage a two person team of Philanthropy Officers, recruit physicians, community leaders, philanthropists and business leaders to serve on both the AdventHealth Tampa and Carrollwood Foundation Boards, and/or other volunteer activities to raise funds and awareness in the community for AdventHealth programs and services. The Hillsborough County, Executive Director must actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The Hillsborough, Executive Director must focus on major gifts, board engagement and development, capital campaign initiatives and physician and employee engagement.
