Position Title: Systems Administrator - (TOP SECRET CLEARANCE)

Position Start: January 1, 2024

Position Summary: MILVETS is currently seeking to fill a full time Systems Administrator - (TOP SECRET CLEARANCE) position, the qualified candidate will be responsible for supporting USAF Distributed Mission Operations Center (DMOC) in Kirtland AFB, NM.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. 
• Interact with users and evaluate vendor products.
• Make recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinate installation and provide backup recovery.
• Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. 
• Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.

Clearance:

• Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an Active United States Department of Defense Top Secret clearance is required.
