Job Title: Custodian

Pay rate: $17-$18

Job Summary: Operationally responsible for the all daily cleaning tasks at the client site. Respond to client’s daily requests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gather and empty trash. Take to designated dumping area.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms to include but not limited to cleaning toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, floors, trash, lockers etc.
• Clean and polish designated furniture and fixtures
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other designated cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Spot clean walls and structures
• Clean carpets designated by site lead. Used designated cleaning methods.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, to prepare facilities for events and functions.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma

• Valid DL and appropriate certifications for equipment operated. Varies per location.

• Ability to comprehend instructions and understand all Safety rules

Physical Demands

Ability to operate equipment and machinery requiring monitoring multiple conditions and making multiple, complex, and rapid adjustments, such as snowplow, sander, dump truck, tractor, front end loader snow blower, shovel, brooms and salt spreaders.

Ability to exert moderately heavy (up to 50 pounds) physical effort in moderate to heavy work, typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
