Being a Top Facilities Management Executive ensures the reliability of all building mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, and waste management systems. Reviews and negotiates contract terms and conditions for contractors selected for facility projects and the delivery of services. Additionally, Top Facilities Management Executive establishes building operations policies, procedures, and service standards to comply with all local laws and regulations. May be responsible for additional facility-related functions like food services, security, safety, environmental, or administrative services. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Facilities Management Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments.     Position: Facilities Maintenance Manager


    Responsibilities:


    • Lead and manage the Facilities Maintenance Department, overseeing day-to-day operations and strategic planning.
    • Provide clear direction, written and verbal instructions, and guidance to the team.
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their unique property needs and develop customized maintenance plans.
    • Ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of maintenance services, including meeting and exceeding client expectations.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
    • Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of facilities and equipment.
    • Develop and manage department budgets, ensuring financial efficiency.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continually improve service offerings.

    Qualifications:


    • Proven experience in Facilities Maintenance or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
    • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpenter skills. 
    • Ability to read and interpret building plans/ blueprints.
    • Strong understanding of facilities management, maintenance operations, and client relations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
    • Budget management experience and financial acumen.
    • Relevant certifications and education in Facilities Management or a related field.
    • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
    • Understand the importance of and be able to build relationships in the market.
