Job Skills / RequirementsTechnical Environmental Services is seeking candidates for an hourly position in support of environmental, health, and safety projects in the Greater New Orleans and Greater Baton Rouge, Louisiana area.
The function of the EHS Technician is to perform duties related to hazardous waste, asbestos, lead, mold, RCRA inspections/surveys, industrial hygiene, and safety. This is an entry-level position and will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to hone their skills in an environment that is built upon continuing professional development.
As an entry level Technician, TES will teach you how to perform these services. We will provide you the knowledge to succeed in this career path. You need to bring a can-do attitude and live our six core values.
You will report into many different workplaces in the region. From local government buildings, schools, chemical plants, oil refineries, and the private sector.

Potential candidates must have reliable transportation, be able to pass a drug test, be able to pass a background check, must have a strong grasp of the English language and must have good/legible handwriting.
This hourly entry level position starts off at $18.00/hr.
Over-time may be required from time to time which will be paid at time and a half.
Candidate will recieve the option for medical insurance after 60 days, and can participate in the Company 401K program after 1 year of employment.
