    Technical Environmental Services is seeking candidates for an hourly position in support of environmental, health, and safety projects in the Greater New Orleans and Greater Baton Rouge, Louisiana area.

    The function of the EHS Associate is to perform duties related to hazardous waste, asbestos, lead, mold, RCRA inspections / surveys, industrial hygiene, and safety.

    This position will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to hone their skills in an environment that is built upon continuing professional development.

    As an Associate, TES will teach you how to perform these services. We will provide you the knowledge to succeed in this career path.

    You need to bring a can-do attitude and live our six core values.

    You will report into many different workplaces in the region. From local government buildings, schools, chemical plants, oil refineries, and the private sector.

    The ideal candidate will have :

    • 4 years of experience performing EHS responsibilities or a Bachelor's Degree (required);
    • The ability to show up on time (required);
    • Effective communication and problem-solving skills (required);
    • Trustworthy and dependable (required);
    • Reliable transportation (required);
    • Ability to lift 50 lb. containers (required); and,
    • Meet the standards of our core values (required).

    This hourly Associate position starts off at $22.00 / hr. - $24.00hhr depending on Degree and / or experience.

    Candidate will recieve the option for medical insurance after 60 days, and can participate in the Company 401K program after 1 year of employment.
