    Pay Range: The estimated salary range for this position is $136,400.00 to $211,530.00 annually. Actual pay may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for incentive compensation.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop SRE strategies and direction for global expansion using cloud strategies using current and emerging technologies.
    • Lead the Platform Reliability and Engineering teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of excellence.
    • Provide senior-level technical expertise and leadership in the areas of Cloud architecture, design, support, and service delivery.
    • Formulate and deploy long-term strategic plans for acquiring and enabling efficient and cost-effective information processing and communication technologies.
    • Develop and review budgets for and from IT department divisions and ensure they comply with set goals, guidelines, and objectives.
    • Benchmark, analyze, and report on recommendations for the improvement of the IT infrastructure and IT systems.
    • Set clear goals and objectives, monitor performance, and conduct regular performance evaluations for the team members.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as development and operations, to ensure effective communication and alignment.
    • Design and implement strategies to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
    • Conduct post-incident reviews and root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement and prevent recurrence.
    • Define and monitor service level objectives (SLOs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure system performance and availability.
    • Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity.
    • Build observability culture to drive system uptime and resiliency across the enterprise.
    • Demonstrate excellence in change management, system controls, monitoring, and health evaluation.
    • Some travel may be required.
    • Other duties as assigned.

      This position manages employees and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees.

      Education

      Minimum of a 4 Year / bachelor's degree Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Or equivalent work experience

      Experience

      • 7 years' Leadership experience in building and managing large scale IT Cloud/SRE teams with Agile principles.
      • Hands-on experience in leading and managing SRE or related teams, with a track record of successfully delivering reliable and scalable systems.
      • 10 years' Experience in information technology (IT) operations, technical operations, service delivery, or service management at a large scale OR equivalent experience.
      • 5 years' of proven experience in managing infrastructure in Cloud environment

      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

      • Excellent technical knowledge of Cloud technologies and operating model
      • Proven experience with modern DevOps practices, including automation, continuous delivery, continuous deployment, and continuous integration methodologies.
      • Expertise in Cloud Engineering and an advisor who creates best practices and ensures alignment with future strategy & practices
      • Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles and tools like Terraform or Ansible.
      • Experienced with platform engineering practices to drive speed to market with security focus
      • Deep knowledge and experience in AWS/Azure public cloud architectures and their native services
      • Communicate job expectations; and planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions.
      • Strong understanding of human resource management principles, practices, and procedures.
      • Proven ability to make complex technical and vendor tradeoffs producing top business value.
      • Strong leadership skills.
      • Ability to build business cases, budgets, and financial reports.
      • Highly self-motivated and directed.
      • Keen attention to detail.
      • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
      • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
      • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
      • Professional experience and knowledge in these areas are desired:
      • Knowledge with server and network management tools and protocols.
      • Ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve problems.
      • Self-motivated and directed.
      • Skilled in AWS and Azure services and products.
      • Experience with Microsoft technologies.
      • Experience with Microsoft server and desktops in an enterprise environment.
      • Experience with network and server technologies.
      • Experience with voice, video, and data communication and protocol.

      Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

      • Positive attitude, team player, good interpersonal communication skills and able to work across company departments.
      • On-call availability.
      • Travel requirements (10%).
      • Sitting for extended periods of time.
      • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components.
      • Occasional inspection of cables in floors and ceilings.
      • Lifting and transporting of heavy objects (up to 100 pounds), such as computers and peripherals.
