Janitorial Supervisor

Top Notch Custodial Care, Inc. is currently seeking a Janitorial Supervisor to oversee custodial operations in the Charleston, WV area. The Janitorial Supervisor will work under the general direction of the Operations Manager overseeing the performance of all custodial maintenance tasks, grounds upkeep, and all required reports.

Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Provides and oversees training and continued training of cleaning technicians.
• Regularly monitors individual employee’s productivity and provides feedback to employees and recommendations for remediation to the Operations Manager.
• Instructs employees in the proper/safe use of all custodial products and equipment to ensure procedures are followed.
• Assist with maintenance of inventory and equipment and supplies assigned to work crews and contract sites.
• Ensures that the organizations’ property and equipment is properly maintained and accounted for.
• Conducts monthly safety training.
• Learn and implement the scope specifications of assigned worksites.
• Attending all required staff meetings.
• Perform work of employees that results in an employee’s absence including but not limited to trash removal, dusting, cleaning restrooms, break rooms, offices, conference rooms. Sweeping and mopping of hard floor surfaces and vacuuming.

Qualifications

· Must show good leadership and communication skills.

· A sense of urgency to complete tasks.

· Ability to work without supervision.

· Valid driver’s license with safe driving history required.

· No felonies or other offenses that would prevent being bonded for honesty.

· Drug testing required.

· Able to work days and/or evenings.

· Must have a working cell phone in order to make and receive work-related calls. Cell phone plan reimbursement will apply.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
