The role you’ll contribute:
A visionary executive to provide strong leadership and strategic guidance to the organization, while spearheading the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies, processes and infrastructure for Lake Placid. Must have the ability to identify and pursue partnerships that support our organizational growth, while ensuring our continued relevance to the health care community, the accomplishment of our mission and vision, and accountability to our diverse constituents and stake holders. The Assistant Vice President, along with the Department Director(s) works closely with hospital COO, physicians, staff, and C level executives on the following priorities: 1) Operations and Project Management, 2) Service Line Development, and 3) Strategic Forecasting. This position involves overseeing strategic growth areas along with supervising and leading individual projects at the hospital and monitoring the activities and operations of all the business units to ensure they are meeting their objectives/goals. The Assistant Vice President has the ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making abilities to achieve optimal organizational objectives. The Assistant Vice President has the autonomy and responsibility to provide support and leadership for operational issues at hospital, including patient satisfaction.
