Top Domestic Ethics & Compliance Executive develops, directs, and promotes the organization's global ethics and compliance function. Designs and develops programs to assess and manage legal and regulatory compliance risks and to establish high ethical standards of conduct for the organization. Being an Top Domestic Ethics & Compliance Executive ensures that policies reflect domestic and international legal requirements and industry-specific codes governing ethical standards and comply with transparency reporting requirements. Communicates the organization's ethical standards with messaging and deliver employee training programs that raise awareness about ethics-related topics such as Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, Antitrust, Conflicts of Interest, and others. Additionally, Top Domestic Ethics & Compliance Executive monitors compliance with policies and investigates and remediates any non-compliant actions. Responsible for maintaining confidential reporting systems allowing employees, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to disclose violations of the organization's ethical standards, violations of law, or policies without fear of retaliation. Job Description
This position is responsible for supporting the Office of Ethics and Compliance and the overall operation of the Compliance and Ethics Program by supporting due diligence on foreign third parties, testing compliance and anti-corruption controls, and supporting the privacy function.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Due Diligence
· Perform third-party and counter-party due diligence, communicate findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and legal teams.
· Research and stay abreast of evolving rules pertaining to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and other international anti-corruption laws.
Risk Assessment & Control Monitoring
· Collaborate with the internal stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritize potential compliance risks to the organization.
· Assist in developing risk assessment methodologies and frameworks to evaluate the likelihood and impact of identified risks.
· Assist with testing controls that mitigate compliance risks.
· Assist with the monitoring and testing of international transactions and project expenditures subject to anti-bribery and corruption laws.
· Assist with supporting and coordinating privacy-related activities, responding to privacy inquiries, and supporting the implementation of privacy policies and procedures.
· Assist with helpline investigations.
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
The qualifications for this position are listed below:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
· 5-8 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or related fields.
· Experience using Third Party Risk Management platforms.
· Knowledge of compliance risks, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and other international anti-corruption laws.
· Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices related to sanctions compliance.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance-related software applications.
Working Conditions
