Top Domestic Ethics & Compliance Executive develops, directs, and promotes the organization's global ethics and compliance function. Communicates the organization's ethical standards with messaging and deliver employee training programs that raise awareness about ethics-related topics such as Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, Antitrust, Conflicts of Interest, and others. Additionally, Top Domestic Ethics & Compliance Executive monitors compliance with policies and investigates and remediates any non-compliant actions. Responsible for maintaining confidential reporting systems allowing employees, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to disclose violations of the organization's ethical standards, violations of law, or policies without fear of retaliation. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. May require the Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP)certification. Typically reports to top management. The Top Domestic Ethics & Compliance Executive manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. JOB SUMMARY The ONEOK Legal department seeks a compliance and ethics professional to join its Compliance and Ethics team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing compliance and ethics initiatives, programs, and events; conducting complaint investigations, and; developing and delivering employee training. This role will assist in the strategic and day to day management of all aspects of ONEOK’s Compliance and Ethics program. The position will be located at the ONEOK headquarters in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule (M-T-TH in office). Job Profile Summary Directs the company Compliance and Ethics program, including: assisting with the company hotline and investigating complaints, maintaining compliance-related databases, researching/developing program content, working with appropriate business partners and/or vendors to design and develop training material, delivering training, tracking the completion of all required corporate policy acknowledgments, monitoring and tracking Compliance and Ethics program activities, driving continuous improvement and evolution of the program and serving as a point of contact for questions involving Compliance and Ethics matters. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Act as an advocate and champion of the compliance and ethics program among all employees and agents and provide advice on compliance and ethics matters. Manage and lead employees in the development, implementation and administration of compliance and ethics programs. Assist in administering the company hotline to appropriately address, investigate and resolve all concerns/complaints received. Assist Compliance and Ethics in maintaining an effective and comprehensive compliance and ethics program by: Seeking to create an environment in which employees and/or others may raise questions, concerns, obtain advice and report misconduct without fear of retaliation; Seeking to identify, assess and appropriately address compliance and ethics risks; and Appropriately monitoring, auditing and measuring the program’s effectiveness and compliance with legal and ethical standards Act as a resource for and assist business unit managers in exercising their roles in promoting the compliance and ethics program within their business units. Provide advice, guidance and counsel to employees and management seeking clarification on issues or dilemmas concerning: Antitrust Guidelines, Code of Business Conduct and Ethics compliance and all related corporate compliance policies. Compile, research, analyze and prepare confidential information including, but not limited to: Statistical reports Budget reports Senior Management, Audit Committee and Board of Director reports Provide guidance and direction to those working on behalf of the compliance and ethics program. Conduct information gathering efforts relating to Hart-Scott-Rodino filings, as well as antitrust information requests from federal or state antitrust enforcement authorities or congressional inquiries. Create, manage and deliver innovative computer-based and in-person training programs covering such topics as: Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, Statement of Policy Regarding Conflicts of Interest, Securities/Insider Trading Policy, Anti-Corruption Policy, Antitrust Guidelines and Human Exploitation Policy. Design and develop communication strategies regarding corporate compliance related policies and procedures through emails, trainings, posters, updates to the company’s intranet and mobile applications. Review and maintain company policies, forms and procedures covering such topics as: Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, Statement of Policy Regarding Conflicts of Interest, Securities/Insider Trading Policy, Anti-Corruption Policy, Antitrust Guidelines and Human Exploitation Policy Maintain an ongoing and creative branding and visibility campaign for the Compliance and Ethics program. Research and report on best practices, industry changes and trends, emerging technologies and metrics to identify potential impacts and recommend necessary changes/additions to the compliance and ethics program. Negotiate and maintain contracts with various vendors that provide compliance and ethics materials, programs and services to the company. Design, coordinate and manage projects in support of the corporate compliance and ethics office’s core functions. Administer and maintain the corporate compliance and ethics databases. Develop and coordinate compliance and ethics surveys for employees. Represent the company in external compliance and ethics forums. Evaluate corporate compliance and ethics program elements and drive continuous improvement and evolution of the program. Education Bachelor's Degree or a combination of formal education and/or the following job-related experience: Work Experience 6 - 10 years related work experience with antitrust/competition law, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and other anti-corruption and compliance-related laws/issues, including program design, training and/or auditing. Experience reading, understanding, analyzing and applying governmental/regulatory reports and administrative regulations, company policies and procedures, industry publications, legal opinions and journals. Experience in the use and function of: office equipment, including computers and applicable software such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint Experience researching, analyzing, compiling and preparing investigative reports, correspondence and other confidential information. Experience identifying, researching, evaluating, prioritizing problems and situations and providing appropriate recommendations for actions and/or alternatives. Experience supervising and leading a team of employees. Experience developing training programs. Experience researching, writing and interpreting policies to meet business requirements.
