Description

We are currently seeking a Field Sales and Service Representative for the Feed Division that is a confident and highly motivated person who will thrive on setting goals and then exceeding them. This position will work with current and new customers focusing on the sales of bulk and bagged feed, minerals, tubs, and other nutritional supplements. The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, we are also looking for a person who has excellent interpersonal skills. This candidate must have the ability to engage and connect with a wide range of potential customers and be able to help problem solve. This position will require the ability to work with our team to achieve company goals as well as personal goals. This position reports directly to the Feed Division Manager.

This position will require experience in the following areas:

1. 1. Product Knowledge.
   2. Problem solving and follow-ups in respect to feed concerns.
   3. Willingness to work with our feed mills and the retail team to expedite feed deliveries.
   4. Develop and maintain a list of farmers as well as prospective accounts.
   5. Proficient computer skills including MS Office, Word, Excel, and other In-House Systems
   6. Willingness to train and learn new feed products.
   7. Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
   8. Ability to build positive working relationships with our customer base.
   9. Plan and delegate key initiatives and work closely with the team to ensure goals are achieved.
   10. Working in a fast-paced environment 2 years
   11. Ability to manage time and organize activities.
   12. Maintain a daily sales report.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, or a two-year degree with equivalent knowledge gained through training and experience in agriculture.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office, Word, and Excel.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
