Job Description: - Analyzes customer drawings and creates machining programs (using CAD/CAM software) that efficiently achieves the part requirements. - Estimates production run times for upcoming projects and creates customer quotes based on this information. - Generates the shop traveler which includes the sequence of operations that need to occur during the machining. - Works directly with the machinist to ensure correct set up and machining of the part. - Works with the estimating / drafting team to help assist in other upcoming projects. Engineering experience an added bonus! Weekly Pay!
Required Experience: - Strong mechanical aptitude. - Experience with CNC lathes and mills a plus - Ability to read blue prints and drawings. - 3 or more years of CNC programming experience. - Advanced knowledge of CAD/CAM software (i.e. Surfcam, Edgecam, Matercam) - Experience using 3D modeling software (Solidworks preferred)
