Our office seeks to hire a litigation attorney 5 to 15 years of relevant litigation experience.

The ideal candidate has experience:

A litigation attorney who will represents clients in court cases and other kinds of adversarial legal proceedings such as arbitrations, mediations and administrative law proceedings. Litigation attorneys are advocates who are familiar with court pleadings and court processes. Litigation attorneys are generally well-spoken advocates and are comfortable presenting cases in front of judges and juries. Detailed job duties include:

• Draft and review motions, briefs, discovery documents, pleadings and other legal documents.
• Prepare case files for trial including but not limited to pre-trial preparation, post-trial evaluation of evidence, jury trials, mediation proceedings, appeals, court appearances, hearings, arbitrations, discovery meetings, litigation reviews, research cases, draft written reports on the subject matter or issues in which they are being litigated by attorneys/clients.
• Conducting all necessary paperwork required under state law.
• Filing documents with the court.

Qualification

• Juris doctorate degree in law or related field
• Minimum of 5 to 15 years years of experience as a litigation attorney, with at least 3 years working on complex cases and/or representing clients in court proceedings
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously is required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
• Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality
• Excellent organizational skills including the ability to maintain confidential information
