New Business Account Executive
Position Overview:
This is a new business development position, otherwise known as outside sales. Our 35-year-old, family owned company continues to grow and has an opening for a Business Account Executive that will be responsible for acquiring and supporting the marketing, print & sign needs of business to business clients. Some of the activities of the position include qualifying leads, sales appointments, proposal presentations and follow up. The ability to use technology including computers, the internet, social media, and email are integral to the role. You will be required to make phone calls to people you do not know, you must be willing to call and call and call again. Seriously if you are not willing to follow-up you should not apply.
Success in this position will require you to create business conversations with complete strangers; many of whom won’t want to talk to you, it is not easy. If you are looking to punch a timeclock and collect a paycheck this is not the job for you.
