The Academic Personnel/Payroll Unit within the division is responsible for all functions of academic personnel administration for faculty, students, and researchers, including appointments, payroll, and visa processing. JOB SUMMARY Under general supervision, the Academic Human Resources Analyst will be responsible for a range of tasks supporting employment and accurate pay for academic employees in the Division of Physical and Biological Sciences, with a particular focus on academic students, non-senate researchers, and postdoctoral scholars. The incumbent coordinates the appointment and advancement process, including visa procurement; enters, monitors, and maintains academic employee job records in divisional, campus, and centralized HR systems; and ensures that transactions comply with personnel and payroll policies, business procedures, and collective bargaining agreements. This position regularly interacts with department chairs, department managers, budget analysts, individual students, faculty, and researchers, the Division of Global Engagement, Academic Personnel Office (APO) staff, and other central campus staff and administrators.
