Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join the Top Circle team as a Fuel Dispatcher. As a Fuel Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of fuel to various locations. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work with transportation management systems.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze fuel delivery requests and determine the most efficient routes for delivery
- Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely and accurate fuel deliveries
- Utilize transportation management systems, such as Digital Fuel and Samsara Transportation Management, to track and monitor fuel deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of fuel inventory levels and consumption
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes or delays
- Collaborate with fleet management to ensure proper maintenance and availability of delivery vehicles
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in transportation management or dispatching is preferred
- Proficient in using transportation management systems, such as Samsara Transportation Management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Excellent phone etiquette and familiarity with phone systems
- Knowledge of fleet management processes and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
