    Oilfield Service Company in Hobbs, NM is seeking an experienced Controller.

    This role is responsible for:
    • Prepare annual budgets and publish them with QuickBooks.
    • Prepare all financial and metrics reports for the management team.

    • Prepare Cash Management Report on Monday morning before 10 am
    • Maintaining A/R aging reports
    • Perform all month-end closing procedures to maintain accrual-based books.
    • Manage all bank account activity and code daily transactions.
    • Reconcile bank accounts and reviews bank statement and sign them.
    • Consult with tax preparer and provide required documentation for tax preparation.
    • Monitor and ensure accurate and prompt recording of all bank deposits.
    • Maintain a current list of all customers and locations. Keep QuickBooks Online current.
    • Provide technical assistance.

    • Manage the accounts payable process.
    • Manage the accounts receivable process.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, preferred.
    • Ideally 5 years proven accounting experience within the Oilfield Industry

    • Strong working knowledge of detailed financial data
    • Working knowledge of regulatory Standards (GAAP)
    Salary: $90K to $120/year DOE
