    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Financial Management:
    • Oversee the financial operations of the small manufacturing company.
    • Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to drive growth and profitability.
    1. Team Management:
    • Supervise and guide the bookkeeping team to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
    • Provide leadership and support to the cost accounting and payroll teams.
    1. Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
    • Present financial reports to senior management and offer insights for decision-making.
    1. Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads.
    • Monitor and update financial forecasts, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
    1. Cost Analysis:
    • Establish and maintain cost accounting processes to monitor and control production costs.
    • Analyze cost data to identify areas for efficiency improvement and cost reduction.
    1. Cash Flow Management:
    • Manage cash flow to meet the company's liquidity needs.
    • Optimize cash management through coordination with financial institutions and stakeholders.
    1. Compliance and Auditing:
    • Ensure adherence to financial and accounting regulations, including tax compliance.
    • Coordinate and support external audits, addressing any findings and recommendations.
    1. Strategy and Decision Support:
    • Provide financial guidance and insights to support strategic decision-making.
    • Collaborate with other departments to improve financial performance and efficiency.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA designation is a plus.
    • Minimum of 7 years' experience as a Controller in a small manufacturing company.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent financial analysis and reporting abilities.
    • Proficiency in cost accounting and payroll management.
    • Knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.
    • Understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
