This position will utilize and apply accounting principles to current processes and procedures while managing day to day operations.
Required Skills/Abilities:- Proficient with QuickBooks, required.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience:- At least five years of experience in accounting required.
- At least three years of experience managing a team required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
Physical Requirements:- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Supervisory Responsibilities:- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Assists in recruiting, interviews, hires, and training new accounting staff.
Duties/Responsibilities:- Overseeing and assisting with accounting duties – accounts payable, accounts receivables and billings, reconciliation, deposits, managing accounts, payroll, taxes, balancing.
- Performs financial and operational analysis as well as other measurements of business performance.
- Reports financial performance to management.
- Calculate and identify budget variances and report significant issues to management.
