Position Overview:
We seek a motivated and results-driven Director of Sales with experience in the manufacturing space who understands OEM and tier Supply Chain needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships, meeting sales targets, and understanding the manufacturing space's unique HR, Quality, manufacturing process, and staffing needs.
Responsibilities:
• Client Acquisition: Identify and target new and existing clients to develop and understand their challenges and help them provide solutions based on sales. In addition, creating opportunities for our current clients, increasing our products and services.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their staffing needs, providing exceptional service, and delivering high-quality candidates.
• Consultative Sales: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights into staffing trends, market dynamics, and best practices in the light industrial sector, especially within automotive manufacturing.
• Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets to contribute to the company's growth and success.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats, focusing on the automotive manufacturing sector.
• Candidate Sourcing: Collaborate with our recruitment team to identify and match top-quality candidates with client needs, ensuring a seamless and successful hiring process, especially within automotive manufacturing roles.
• Proposal Development: Prepare and present tailored staffing solutions and proposals to potential clients, emphasizing automotive manufacturing requirements.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms, contracts, and pricing agreements with clients, particularly in the automotive manufacturing industry, to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress toward sales targets.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Proven sales experience in the light industrial staffing industry, focusing on direct hire placements, quality inspection/containment services, and automotive manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of the light industrial sector, including automotive manufacturing, and deep knowledge of industry-specific challenges and trends.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
• Willingness to travel locally for client meetings as needed.
• A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Work experience can be substituted in place of a degree
