Equipment Maintenance Technician

Position Overview :

The Equipment Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and longevity of our machinery and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

This position is based in Texas and requires a hands-on approach to equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities :

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of industrial machinery and equipment.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to determine the most effective solutions.

Collaborate with the production team to schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including performed tasks, parts used, and equipment status.

Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring it meets safety and operational standards.

Work closely with equipment manufacturers and suppliers to source replacement parts and materials.

Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications :

Associates of Applied Science in Electronics or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years of experience in repair or maintenance.

Proficient in troubleshooting electronic and electro-mechanical systems.

Ability to read and interpret electronic and pneumatic schematics.

Preferred Qualifications :

Strong mechanical aptitude with an emphasis on understanding mechanics and troubleshooting.

Proficiency in using computer programs to control electronic or electro-mechanical devices.

Familiarity with various programming software packages.

Ability to design complex circuits for control devices or similar applications.
