Diversity-Vuteq is currently looking for a Production Assistant Manager for 2nd Shift. We are looking for a strong team player with assembly experience, preferably in the automotive industry. We will also consider recent college graduates. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word).
Job Responsibilities
The role of this position is to manage and coordinate activities of Supervisors concerning the production of company products and maintenance of company property. Responsible for KPI’s, working with Supervisors to cross train across shop floor and assisting Supervisors with Team Members when necessary.
· Manage 2 Supervisors.
· Interprets company policies to Supervisor and enforces safety regulations to ensure good team member relations.
· Manage departments performance measures.
· Ability to build strong relationships with customers and provide excellent customer support.
· Establish goals and targets to exceed company objectives.
· Be available to work shifts, OT and weekends as needed.
· Other duties may be assigned.
Managerial skills are necessary to accomplish quality results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching and counseling Supervisors, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
