Establishes data governance standards and policies to develop data management guidelines that will ensure data accuracy, reliability, and security. Additionally, Top Data Management Executive adheres to data privacy regulations to ensure sensitive data is protected. Studies and evaluates emerging technologies to enhance data capabilities and operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Data Management Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Top Data Management Executive typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience.
