Business Analyst I
Primary function
Assist in loading tax exemption certificates into the Vertex tax software Eaton utilizes. This entails entering specific data points into an Excel spreadsheet and archiving tax certificates for support on future Audits. Assist in creating tax credit memos when tax was charged to customers in error. Send communications to customers to retrieve tax exemption certificates.
Responsibilities
Applies systems solutions to business problems through the design of assigned system projects.
Ability to quickly learn to navigate various applications and locate required data elements within them.
Will be responsible for making initial contact with internal and external customers to collect data for customer set up.
Ensure appropriate documentation and information is received in order to accurately send customer correspondences.
Will be responsible in compiling the information necessary to make successful collection presentations to customers.
Will provide customer service support.
Abide by Robinson-Pattman Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Cannons of Business Credit Ethics, and Eaton Ethics Policy at all times.
Qualifications
College Degree – Accounting/Finance/Business preferred
Strong skill set in Microsoft office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrates effective customer service skills
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Strong organizational skills
