Credit Solutions Analyst

This professional is responsible for managing delinquency and recovery while mitigating loss and charge off for the consumer, credit card, mortgage, and commercial portfolios.
Be our member’s primary point of contact over the phone, in writing, or in person for the collection of loan delinquency; including collection of consumer, credit card, mortgage, and commercial loan payments
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Be an effective communicator to meet the Credit Union’s goals
- Mitigate loss through effective skip tracing, repossession of collateral, and sale of collateral
- Assist with the recovery of charged off loans by filing legal suits/claims, garnishments, and levies
- Work with collection agencies, insurance companies, attorneys and/or other professionals may be required to maximize post charge off recovery, as well as keeping accurate records for reporting
- The Credit Solutions Analyst will actively collaborate with other credit union team members to support our strategic goals and Credit Union’s mission of: “To be partners in a successful future with our members and employees by providing caring financial services and community support.”
Preferred Skills
- One to three years of similar or related experience
- Experience in financial institution lending environment, including underwriting and an understanding of legal remedies associated with the foreclosure, repossession and disposition of collateral
- A thorough understanding of appropriate collection regulations
- Possess superior organization and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
