Executive Security Services, Inc. (ESSI) is now hiring experience Professional Security Officers for a Full and Part-time position in Portland, Oregon. ESSI is looking for experienced, dedicated, reliable people for Full & Part Time Swing/ Graveyard with great customer service. This position will provide exceptional customer service, access control, foot patrols, as well as assist if issues arise. If interested, Executive Security Services wants to talk with you.

If you have DPSST License great! If not, we will provide you with the required 2-day state training!

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer focus skills.
• Pass a Background check (DPSST-Department of Public Safety Standard & Training)
• We will need at least a minimum of 2 professional references with all relevant contact information.
• High school or equivalent diploma
• A minimum of 1 year in a Security or Customer Service-related field.
• Driver’s License with a good driving record (some sites are not required)
• Available to work flexible shifts including Days, nights, graveyard and/or weekends.
• Knowledge of reports, de-escalation working in public regulations.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, on site management, team, operations
• Experience maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace.
• Reliable transportation.

Duties can include:

• Maintaining constant surveillance of assigned areas
• Able to operate access video and life safety systems
• Protecting the property from theft, accidents, fire, and other threats
• Providing customer service for residents, visitors, and/or guests and clients
• Writing accident and incident reports for any suspicious activities or safety hazards
• Able to patrol the entire facility, floors, and work closely with control officer
• Responding to calls for assistance
• Conducting patrols of the interior and exterior of the building
• Assisting with safety and security related matters
