Job Summary:
SIONXY is actively seeking qualified candidates for the newly formed role of Contracts Administrator. Contracts Administrator will support the contract management process across the company. This position, reporting to the COO, will be responsible for the implementation of contract management best practices and management of a contract lifecycle management (CLM) system.
Given SIONYX’s commitment to a flexible work environment, this position is offered across the United States, but with preference to Massachusetts with in-office presence in Beverly, MA a few days per week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Draft, review and revise commercial contracts, including but not limited to, sales agreements, vendor agreements and non-disclosure agreements.
· Ensure contracts comply with legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
· Identify and mitigate contractual risks and liabilities.
· Monitor contract performance and compliance throughout the contract lifecycle.
· Own the CLM system and provide training to internal stakeholders as required.
· Responsible for annual government contract compliance reporting.
· Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely contract renewals, amendments, and terminations.
· Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding contract-related inquiries and issues.
· Support the government program office in monthly program management reviews.
· Maintain knowledge of the Company’s contract documents and operations.
· Administrative management of IP portfolio
o Set and manage annual budget for all IP-related activities (patents, copyrights, trademarks, etc.)
o Serve as primary interface with external corporate and IP counsel.
o Negotiate rates with external counsel as needed.
o Properly store and archive any electronic or physical documents / files as required.
· Experience with and deep knowledge of various Commerce and State Department classifications, including EAR-99 AND ITAR regulations.
· Experience implementing and maintaining ITAR policies and procedures.
Requires Skills/Abilities:

· US Citizen or green card holder with the ability to travel internationally, as may be required.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field is required. A Juris Doctor from an accredited law school is a plus.
· 4 years of post-Bachelor experience, or 2 years of post-JD experience, in a contract’s administrator and/or contracts counsel role is required.
· A working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) is required. Experience in managing Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs) and Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contracts is a plus.
· Experience in handling commercial agreements, foreign and domestic government contracts, sales agreements, and non-disclosure agreements is required.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and contract lifecycle management software is required. Experience with Contract Logix CLM is a plus.
· Certification in Contract Management (e.g., CCM, CCPM) is a plus.

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000
Annual Incentive Bonus: up to 10%
