    Position Overview:
    We are looking for a Site Superintendent with a strong background in construction, particularly in managing government contract projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site activities, ensuring that construction projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Site Superintendent will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of quality, while also fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Project Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations at construction sites, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and timelines.

    Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members and subcontractors.

    Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, laborers, and other on-site personnel, fostering teamwork and efficient project execution.

    Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality control standards to ensure that the construction work meets or exceeds industry and client standards.

    Government Contract Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of government contracts, regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure that all project activities align with contractual obligations.

    Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, control expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring project profitability.

    Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities.

    Documentation: Keep detailed records of project progress, daily reports, and any deviations from plans, and ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate.

    Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during construction, proactively addressing delays or disruptions.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
    • Proven experience as a Site Superintendent in construction, with a focus on government contracts.
    • Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, plans, and blueprints.
    • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • OSHA certification and other relevant safety certifications (preferred).
