Job Summary:
Excellent opportunity for an experienced consumer service representative at our law firm in Shawnee, Kansas. In this role, you will be working directly with consumers to meet their needs.
Duties:
- Provide excellent service to consumers to create memorable experience
- Advise consumer of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment
- Answer consumer questions regarding problems with their accounts
- Arrange for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules
- Locate and notify consumers of delinquent accounts by mail or telephone
- Miscellaneous clerical duties such as answering correspondence and drafting letters
- Perform skip tracing to locate assets and consumers
- Negotiate repayment with consumers by form of payment in full, settlements and/or payment arrangements and ensure a positive resolution and client satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Two years of collection and skip trace experience preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, active listening, and complex problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented team environment while ensuring compliance with all company, client, state, and federal regulations
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs. Strict attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize work load
- Maintain calm demeanor when confronted with difficult situations
- Demonstrate proficiency with computer equipment and systems including MS Office
- Candidates may be required to undergo a background check and drug screening
