This position location is flexible near any of the 40 AgCountry branch offices (MN, ND, WI), hybrid schedule is available for the right candidate.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares loan/lease agreements and related documentation, notes, amendments, financing statements, mortgages, security documents, legal descriptions, and consumer compliance disclosures according to staff requests.
- Processes rural home loans, prepares closing packets, and clears title work issues.
- Conducts required post-close loan file activities, including verifications needed for the loan finalizing process.
- Monitors recorded mortgages and mortgage loan packages to ensure they are received in a timely manner, pursuant to Association policies and procedures. Maintains an accurate and timely process for the electronic scanning of mortgage loan packages.
- Coordinates loan closings with loan officers and title companies. Assists with title resolution. Reviews and approves all information before completing closing disclosure and loan documents.
- Establishes and maintains strong customer relationships by providing a high-quality level of service which is timely, thorough, and responsive. Accepts ownership of problems and involves other resources, if appropriate, until issues are resolved to branch satisfaction.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree in administrative or business field or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of experience in a lending environment
- Knowledge of title insurance, including title resolution and loan closing processes
- Knowledge of AgCountry’s consumer application used to produce consumer disclosures and documents
- Knowledge of consumer compliance regulations; loan documentation; mortgage lending processes; construction loan procedures; FCS loan products, services, and credit operations; and association and AgriBank policies and procedures
- Verbal and written communications skills to communicate directly and effectively with customers, closing agents and lending staff
- Interpersonal skills to effectively manage multiple relationships in a positive manner and gain agreement on time-sensitive issues
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Proven customer service skills and effective team skills
