Engages in high-level strategic planning of compensation and benefits programs designed to attract and retain employees. Monitors trends, provides recommendations, and suggests initiatives. Additionally, Top Compensation and Benefits Executive consults with legal and financial professionals to ensure compliant and financially sound programs. Evaluates vendors, negotiates and completes contracts. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Compensation and Benefits Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Top Compensation and Benefits Executive typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience.
