Part-Time Development Assistant

The Development & Communications Assistant will be part of the Development team responsible for matters related to donation logistics/transportation, fundraising, and event planning.

The successful candidate will be able to:

• Work within the agency’s data base, completing tasks such as data entry, generating reports, and ensuring authorized staff are properly trained in and follow agency data entry procedure guidelines;
• Support Joseph's House & Shelter's donation logistics by transporting materials among our five agency facilities. Candidates must be able to lift 30 lb. crates in the course of their duties;
• Be a creative, collaborative and communicative team player;
• Support Development's communications and social media management work by providing event photography, draft copy and other performing other duties germane to agency communications;
• Have organizational, professional communication, and computer skills (including MS Office and various social media platforms);
• Have a valid NYS Driver's License--with a clean driving record;
• Other duties as assigned.
