Being a Top Collections Executive monitors collections activities and provides recommendations for improvement. May work with legal counsel or outside collections agencies to handle overdue accounts. Additionally, Top Collections Executive may require an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Collections Executive manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. As a dynamic, future oriented, essential company, we are always looking for new talent to join our team!We are looking for a full time Collections/Account Receivable Specialist. This position will provide support by collecting customer invoices especially those that are past due. This position will also process cash receipts and resolve invoice discrepancies. The position will also do other tasks as assigned.What You Will Do:
- Apply cash receipts and reconcile any variances.
- Monitor A/R accounts to ensure payments are current.
- Contacts customers with overdue invoices to collect payments. Enlists help on sales staff when necessary to help with collection process.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For:- Associates degree or 2 years' experience.
- Excellent data entry skills, attention to detail, strong organization skills.
- Prior A/R and collection experience.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- Constant need for the accurate exchange of information through the phone, computer, and in-person.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for over 75% of the day.
- Occasionally moves safely about the building to conduct business.
- Occasionally must wear common protective or safety equipment - ANSIZ87.1 2003 standard safety glasses are required in plant.
