The Information Systems Manager - Ambulatory manages Information Systems staff (Ambulatory Registration, Scheduling and Professional Billing Revenue Cycle) and projects to provide service/support for information systems for user departments. Works directly with department managers, supervisors and end users to coordinate the implementation of hospital information systems, applications, and/or interfaces. Will oversee the building, testing, training, support, maintenance, and enhancements of all assigned information systems.
Bachelor's degree with 5 years relevant Information Technology, Administration, Business, Healthcare, or Education experience (preferably in a healthcare setting) required. Will consider Associates degree with 7 years of experience as described above. Progressive leadership experience, previous staff supervision or project management experience required.
Prior experience with SUNY Upstate systems, applications and technologies preferred.
