Role: IT Security Analyst

Location: San Francisco Bay Area, CA

Role & Responsibilities:

• Investigate security incidents, meticulously analyzing evidence and piecing together the puzzle to understand the attack and its impact.
• Implement robust security measures, wielding firewalls and encryption-like armor to protect our systems and data.
• Identify and patch weaknesses in our defenses, ensuring our systems remain impenetrable.
• Share your expertise by developing company-wide security best practices and guiding colleagues on secure practices.
• Continuously update your knowledge of the ever-changing cybersecurity landscape, ensuring we're always one step ahead of threats.

Required Qualification:

• Minimum 5 plus years of proven track record in cybersecurity or IT, demonstrating your ability to combat digital threats.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or relevant experience to ground your technical prowess.
• Experience with a major SIEM system, allowing you to sift through logs and identify anomalies with ease.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, its protocols, and the services that run on it.
• Security certifications like Security , CISSP, CEH, or SANS are a plus, showcasing your commitment to the field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour
