Job Summary: Assists in providing functional and technical support to a variety of clinical staff. This position is learning the responsibility for clinical system support including but not limited to upgrades, system maintenance, and project management. The individual assists in the analysis, recommendations for corrective action and resolution of problems within the software.
Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications: 18 years old and Six (6) months of Healthcare IT experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Experience with Cerner clinical information systems preferred. Knowledge of commonly used PC software and hardware, how application software is affected by the operating environment, how software and hardware interact, and how PCs interact with the network. Skilled in teaching and creating training materials, interpersonal relationships, and customer service, assessing, and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands, operating a personal computer utilizing a variety of software applications, working under pressure, and managing time and data analysis.
Working Conditions: May be occasionally exposed to hazardous materials or infectious diseases.
Physical Conditions: Constantly sit, see/visual acuity, handle/grasp/feel, talk/hear. Frequently stand, walk, reach, lift/carry 1 to 25 lbs. Occasionally lift/carry 25 to 50 lbs.
