Regional Health Systems is Northwest Indiana’s largest provider of community-based mental health care, primary health care and addiction treatment services. We offer adults and children—both uninsured and insured—integrated care through our community mental health center and federally qualified health center. Regional Health Systems is a member of the Regional Care Group.

The Clinical Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support to program staff, including completing clinical paperwork. The incumbent will also perform HAP evaluations, as well as other required related duties.

• Create a positive experience by welcoming and assisting patients
• Prepare patient files by obtaining personal and health information
• Maintain patient records
• Diagnostic Interviewing
• Health nutrition screening as well as drug & alcohol screens
• Contact Doctor's no shows via phone / letter and attempt to reschedule in a timely manner

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2 years of college required
• 2 years of clerical experience preferred
