Growing WLR law firm seeking an Information Systems Supervisor with a strong background in SQL databases and data security to join their team. 

Job Description: 

As our Information Systems Specialist, you will be pivotal in managing our SQL databases, ensuring robust data security, and overseeing our Case Management Software and EDI systems. Your role includes maintaining the performance of Microsoft SQL Server databases, implementing data security measures, and ensuring the effective operation of our information systems, especially in relation to case management and EDI. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, implement, and manage Microsoft SQL Server databases. 
• Perform regular database maintenance tasks, including backups, restores, and performance tuning. 
• Develop and implement data security protocols, focusing on access controls and encryption. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, offering technical support as necessary. 
• Collaborate with various departments to meet their data and case management software needs. 
• Set up, maintain, and optimize Case Management Software specific to our business needs. 
• Manage and maintain Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and compliance with relevant standards. 
• Stay updated with the latest trends in database technology, data security, and EDI. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field (relevant experience may be substituted for education). 
• Demonstrated expertise in managing and maintaining SQL databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes and standards
• In-depth knowledge of data security principles and practices. 
• Experience in database design, documentation, and coding. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. 
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
