    Job Description

     

    What you will do for C&F:

     

    • Assume a leading role in joint producer visits to broaden relationships, brand recognition, and our claims service value proposition.
    • Engage with underwriting to identify prospect accounts.
    • Conduct claim service presentations for new account prospects, focusing primarily on loss sensitive accounts.
    • Manage claim service delivery and position yourself as the single point of contact for policyholders and producers.
    • Conduct Installation meetings with policyholders and producers to address the special claim handling needs of your accounts.
    • Manage policyholder and producer relationships throughout the life cycle of an account, focused on renewal retention.
    • Lead claim review meetings, coordinating with the claims technical team for professionalism and proficiency in the management of our policyholder’s claims, including knowledge of the insured’s business, case reserve adequacy, strategy, and resolution plans.
    • Participate in pre-renewal meetings, both internal and external, to discuss loss trends and performance against deliverables.
    • Maintain expertise in medical management programs for states within your assigned territory.
    • Provide market intelligence regarding claim service initiatives of other carriers / TPA’s.
    • Align with the Billing & Collections team to monitor accuracy and timely collection of deductible recoveries.
    • Engage in the mentorship process for select associates.
    • Participate in objective setting and special projects as directed by the VP of Claims Account Management

     

    What you will bring to C&F:

     

    • An established network of producer and policyholder relationships preferred
    • A minimum of 7 years managing claim services for loss sensitive accounts
    • Strong depth of knowledge in handling workers compensation, general liability, and commercial automobile claims
    • Excellent communication & presentation skills, including keen situational awareness
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a solid track record in customer service
    • Working knowledge of claim systems, loss runs, customized reports, and risk management information systems.
    • Good understanding of medical management programs, including preferred provider networks, medical bill review, pharmacy programs and other cost saving essentials
    • Working knowledge of PowerPoint & Excel

Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $74,820.00 to a maximum of $171,020.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
