Top Claims Litigation Executive provides legal representation to the organization in insurance claims-related litigation. Provides legal advice to claims personnel. Being a Top Claims Litigation Executive leads a staff of internal attorneys and outside legal counsel. Tries large, complex cases as required and directs claims cases through litigation cycle. Additionally, Top Claims Litigation Executive consults with senior management to resolve issues and decide settlements. Must be admitted into the state bar. Acts as Attorney of Record. Requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Requires admittance to a state bar. Typically reports to top management. The Top Claims Litigation Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Top Claims Litigation Executive typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience. Our court reporting firm is actively seeking a part-time enthusiastic office assistant. Our team works in a fast-paced, yet casual and fun environment. We are seeking an employee who shows a positive attitude daily, has a strong work ethic, can work well with a team as well as independently, and is highly motivated and possesses the desire to learn.
Position hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (somewhat flexible)
Position pay is $18.00/hr.Responsibilities
Responsibilities and requirements are, but not limited to:
- General office duties and tasks
- Great professional communication skills
- Computer literate
- Ability to photocopy and bind per instruction
- Ability to sort, file and email
- Answer and manage phone calls
- Precise calendar entry
- Postage outgoing mail
- Quality control
- Dependable and reliable
- Ability to multi-task
- Detail-oriented is a MUST
- Must show initiative
- Positive attitude
- Ability to maintain professional relationships
Qualifications
The successful applicant will have to get up to speed quickly and therefore, we will only consider those who meet the criteria listed above.
