Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Biller. Whether you have prior experience or are looking to start your career in medical billing, we welcome candidates with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and processing medical claims accurately and efficiently
• Verifying insurance coverage and obtaining necessary authorizations
• Communicating with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to resolve billing issues
• Posting payments and adjustments to patient accounts
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of medical billing regulations and coding guidelines
• Assisting with appeals and denials as needed
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure timely and accurate billing processes

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in medical billing preferred but not required
• Experience in E-Thomas, Epic or Chiro touch preferred but not required
• Experience in Chiropractic, Oncology, Dermatology, Cardiology or Vascular is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-10 coding preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and medical billing software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to adapt to changing regulations and processes in the healthcare industry
