Being a Top Claims Litigation Executive leads a staff of internal attorneys and outside legal counsel. Tries large, complex cases as required and directs claims cases through litigation cycle. Additionally, Top Claims Litigation Executive consults with senior management to resolve issues and decide settlements. Must be admitted into the state bar. Acts as Attorney of Record. Requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Requires admittance to a state bar. Typically reports to top management. Paralegal - Insurance Defense - OKC or Tulsa - Hybrid
Litigation Paralegal with a minimum of 4 years of litigation experience needed for fast paced, mid-size firm. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as Adobe Acrobat, OnCue, Trial Director, or other trial presentation software is essential. Knowledge of CaseMap, TextMap, and TimeMap is also beneficial, as is experience with WestLaw, LexisNexis, and Accurint.
Qualified candidates will be able to multitask and support multiple cases simultaneously. Candidates should have experience with billing and time entry, drafting legal documents, and preparing discovery including e-Discovery, records requests and review, redaction of documents, vetting experts, conducting background searches, mediation, and trial preparation. Additionally, candidates must have a professional appearance and demeanor and be able to work in a confidential environment.
