Top Claims Executive plans and directs all aspects of an organization's insurance claims function. Responsible for managing and implementing claims programs for all lines of insurance. Being a Top Claims Executive directs the review and settlement of complex or high dollar claims. Develops procedures and policies to enhance and improve the processing, investigation, and settlement of claims. Additionally, Top Claims Executive ensures legal examinations are made when appropriate. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Claims Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. Perform routine maintenance as well as diagnose and complete necessary repairs on commercial refrigeration, self-contained temperature-controlled merchandisers, heating and air-condition systems.
Skills:
- Locate and Repair Refrigeration Leaks and low air flow.
- Competent in soldering with copper and fabrication.
- Able to use temperature meters and sensors.
- Install blower coils and perform walk-in case installation.
- Maintain excellent customer relations.
- Must have a Valid Driver's License and maintain a safe driving record.
- Very mechanically inclined.
- strong decision-making ability.
- Able to use a hand-held computer.
- have excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail orientated and highly motivated.
- Must be physically able to walk distances, bend and crouch, lift and carry objects up to fifty pounds, repetitively and possibly for extended periods of time, climb ladders and work at high elevations
Work vehicle, tools and phone provided. Paid drive time!
Must be available to work nights and/or weekends as required.
Salary ranges from $30-$48 per hour (Pay is based on knowledge, skills and experience)
