    The Assoc Channel Manager – Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer is responsible for maximizing the capabilities of SFMC and applying knowledge to email campaigns, marketing journeys, and other marketing automations. This individual must have a strong background in HTML and AMP script as well as the various technical capabilities with SFMC to create dynamic content blocks, personalization, and deploy advanced segmentation strategies. A key function of this role is supporting the continual growth of the email marketing and marketing automation channel and contributing to the attainment of key KPIs. This role will be expected to build and maintain email templates, coordinate with the Beacon on specific campaign email designs, and continuously understand the technical complexities of SFMC and email development.  Main team and cross functional partners include Beacon, Channel Manager – Marketing Automation, Sr. Market Analyst – Email & Technology, Sr. Channel Manager – eComm Content Strategy, Sr. Channel Manager – KSS Marketing, Kohler.com Team, and others.  Primary businesses this role will support: eComm (Consumer), KOHLER Signature Stores/KEC, Install Services, Bathroom Design Services, Sterling, Canada, KOHLER Family of Brands, and some intersection with Trade.

    Specific Responsibilities

    •Creating, customizing, and/or modifying existing Marketing Cloud solutions using tools like Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Email Studio, Cloud Pages, Einstein Tools, and others to meet client requirements.
    •Experience developing HTML email templates, SFMC templates & components, landing pages, scripting, and interacting with the SFMC API. Create, code and test interactive experiences for email in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
    •Designing and implementing automated marketing campaigns, workflows, and customer journeys using Automation Studio and Journey Builder in collaboration with the Channel Manager – Marketing Automation. Create journeys based on various segments.
    •Primary developer skills using Amp Script, HTML/CSS, and SQL 
    •With an understanding skill of SSJS and JavaScript.Strong developer skills writing queries for in-depth reporting and automation
    •Set up and configure APIs with SMS vendor to create SMS/MMS campaigns, manage opt-ins/outs, and ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., TCPA).
    •Leverage consumer data to implement dynamic, segmentation, personalization, and technology capabilities in SFMC to enhance email conversion effectiveness.
    •Ensure Marketing’s efforts are within compliance of internal governance and legal requirements.
    •Apply the best practices in email development, email compliance regulations, deliverability, and accessibility. Ensure identical rendering across browsers, ESPs, and devices.
    •Partner with Sr. Market Analyst – Email & Technology to set up, test, and launch complex email campaigns with dynamic content, personalization, segmentation, and SMS messaging.
    •Manage multiple project details and ensure all materials are proofed for error with knowledge of doing QA in Litmus, Outlook App, and other email applications.
    •Remain organized and demonstrate a strong attention to detail and remain flexible through multiple revisions.
    •Perform coding and database maintenance tasks as required.
    •Ability to learn and understand various direct to consumer businesses and propose solutions/opportunities for use of email marketing in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
    •Stays up to date with industry trends and emerging Salesforce technologies, recommending innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement.
    •Understands all aspects of Salesforce Marketing Cloud integrations configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to the Salesforce release upgrades.
    •Support audience segmentation across DTC email marketing to effectively communicate with the correct consumer groups at the right time and with the right content.
    •Experience in virtual event coordination and execution (Creating digital experiences & touchpoints for virtual Webinars/CEUs).
