Top Business Analytics Executive leads and oversees the business analytics function to provide data-driven insights related to business performance used to advise and develop strategies for operational improvements and future business initiatives. Utilizes KPIs, business performance data, industry trends, competitor intelligence, and customer information to develop analytical tools, reports, and models across the organization to inform and support decision-making. Being a Top Business Analytics Executive consults with stakeholders to understand the business model, objectives, issues, and challenges that analytics can support. Develops standards and collection processes to support robust analytics and reporting data pipelines. Additionally, Top Business Analytics Executive builds teams with statistical methods, modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis skills to support the business. Typically requires a master's degree in finance, statistics or a quantitative field. Typically reports to top management. The Top Business Analytics Executive manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.     The Account Executive will sell multi-million dollar energy optimization projects in a designated territory by identifying, assessing and structuring technical and financial solutions for customers such as municipalities and public K-12 schools. The Account Executive will require a strong technical background and the communication/business skills to translate customer needs into a strategic approach for our development and implementation teams.

    Open to flexible work schedules working fully remote or hybrid but must be able to travel up to 50% of the time. Looking for someone to be in New York, New England, Virginia, or Pennsylvania.

    Our Account Executive’s contributions to the team include:

    • Identifying potential customers for design build energy efficiency, solar, battery storage and EV charging solutions in the municipality, university, hospital, and K-12 and higher education facility markets
    • Calling on aforementioned customer base and develop sales strategy to successfully close project sales
    • Working with a cross-functional team consisting of Engineering, Project Management, and Project Development team members
    • Overseeing the development and delivery of projects which promote customer service and lead to long term relationships with clients
    • Developing project technical write-ups, proposals, reports and presentations


    The core components of success are (i.e. must haves):

    • 3 years of work experience in sales and marketing for a HVAC controls contractor, mechanical contractor, energy services company or related organization
    • Experience in identifying leads, closing sales, and working with a project development team

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, Business or a related field
    • Past experience and an up-to-date knowledge of best practices as they relate to upgrading and reducing energy consumption in building mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000-110,000 commission benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
