  • Position Summary
    The Regional Branch Administration Officer is responsible for the administration, support and efficient daily operation of multiple full service branch offices, including operations, promoting product sales, customer service, safety and security in accordance with the Bank’s objectives. This regional leader is responsible for reviewing, managing, guiding and directing the performance and activities of Banking Center Operations Managers in the assigned region. The Officer will support manger efforts with new deposit business, provide a superior level of customer service and promote the sales and service culture through coaching, guidance and staff motivation. The Officer is also tasked with supporting each branch to achieve sales goals through new business sales, referrals and retention of account relationships. This individual is responsible for attaining established Bank and branch goals through active participation in sales management. The Manager is also responsible for operational and regulatory compliance within the facilities they manage to include the interpretation and implementation of Bank policies and procedures. This is a key leadership role accountable for the contribution of deposit growth and operational excellence.
    Principal Duties and Responsibilities
    • Responsible for the management of day-to-day branch operations for multiple locations to ensure operational excellence.
    • Supervise and coach Banking Center Operations Managers.
    • Lead BCOMs through coaching, performance management and setting priorities.
    • Lead BCOMs with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued and supported to do work that energizes them.
    • Ensure the BCOMs are equipped with leadership knowledge to encourage open communication with their staff.
    • Monitor, report and update the Senior Branch Administrations Officer on employee relations, customer service issues, operations and sales production for the region. Submit monthly recaps to the Senior Branch Administrations Officer detailing the above topics, as requested.
    • Ensure that all areas of the banking centers have the necessary tools, equipment, and adequate supplies.
    • Ensure adequate monitoring and oversight of all operational procedures and transactions such overrides, audits, balancing, bait money, approve checks, review large items, banking center vault limits and as specified in the BCOM Manual.
    • Aid in the management of all lobby staff to include hiring, training, developing, coaching, evaluating and applying discipline in order to strengthen the talent in our branches.
    • Resolve escalated customer complaints/issues promptly and effectively.
    • Ensure that all banking centers adherence to branch security policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring quarterly security device inspections and monthly security trainings are performed at locations of responsibility.
    • Ensure that BCOM’s are trained on all Bank products and services.
    • Responsible for controlling or eliminating overtime expense within the branches managed.
    • Ensure that Banking Center Managers are training and providing ongoing guidance and support to lobby service personnel in the development of the Bank’s overall mission of recruiting customers, building relationships and growing deposits.
    • Promote an effective sales and service environment, ensuring that managers are coaching staff to meet sales and deposit growth goals.
    • Oversight/management of quality control verification of all new account maintenance and lobby services performed at their banking centers, including but not limited to: new accounts, closed accounts, BOL, ROL, IRA’s, debit cards, wires, client central, etc.
    • Maintain working knowledge of all the Bank’s products, services and service charges and ensure BCOM’s are doing the same at each banking center.
    • Conduct regular staff meetings to effectively communicate compliance with all Bank policies and procedures. Communicate any updates to lobby service personnel, as necessary and ensure BCOM’s are doing the same at each banking center.
    • Ensure timely completion of 90-day evaluations for new lobby service personnel and annual performance evaluations for lobby service personnel and ensure BCOM’s are doing the same at each banking center.
    • Monitor lobby service personnel performance. When appropriate, coach for improved performance and engage in disciplinary action steps with Human Resources.
    • Support BCOM in taking an active role in business development activities in the assigned region through customer calling and community involvement.
    • Responsible for conducting branch assessments and utilizing findings to implement corrective measures and create efficiencies.
    Other Responsibilities
    • Continuously review of procedures and policies to create efficiencies.
    • Conduct Branch audits and assessments as required.
    • Participate in the interview and recruitment process of branch personnel as necessary.
    • Participate in community affairs to increase the Bank’s visibility.
    • Assist BCOMs with the support of significant community events in their marketing area.
    • Support and promote the Bank’s culture, vision, mission and core values, organizational structure and policies and procedures.
    • Assist in writing and implementing operational policies and procedures.
    • Assist in weekly communications meetings.
    • Comply with federal and state regulations as well as all established Bank policies and procedures.
    • Perform management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities may include:
      • Interviewing, hiring, and training employees;
      • Planning, goal setting, assigning, and directing work toward individual accountability based on the company’s strategic objectives;
      • Appraising individual and company performance, rewarding and disciplining employees;
      • Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • None of the above can be done without visiting the locations and spending time with both the manager and the branch team.
